meet  izze

A singer-songwriter driven by a deep desire to help others heal, Izze is both empathetic and empowering.

Born on the stages and jazz clubs of New York City, Izze is an unsigned independent artist who has made frequent appearances at the Apollo Theater and Birdland Jazz Club, and opened for many R&B/Soul artists, including Adi Oasis at Palm Heights in the Cayman Islands and Morgan James at the Sellersville Theatre.

She recently completed her first international tour to promote her debut original album, QUESTIONS. During her tour she appeared on Studio40, Good Day Sacramento, and Today In Nashville; sang the National Anthem at the A’s vs. Braves MLB game; and performed in Austin, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville, and Stockholm, Sweden. This fall she will be the Featured Musical Artist for the Manhattan Short Film Festival, where her music will be shared with over 100,000 film lovers in 500 cities across six continents.

Izze’s sound is influenced by Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, Joni Mitchell, Cleo Sol, and Amy Winehouse; her current songs revolve around the theme of searching for self-value. Izze hopes to give those who relate to her stories space to feel and release emotional pain.
